Tyrius is accredited with the foundation of the nation of Tyrium.
Tyrius was a Norican chieftain from Umbara, who, before the reign of Noric, lead an exodus of Noricans to the land now known as Tyrium. Along the journey, Tyrius subjugated the Igrun tribes in his path and forced them into servitude.
After years of travel, Tyrius established a settlement on the western shore of Lake Piridium, which he named Tyrium, and founded the Kingdom of Tyrium. Tyrius reigned for forty years before his death.
The Cult of Tyrius is prevalent in the Tyrian military, though it lacks popularity in the cities.
Members of the Norican Princely House of Firaken are distant relatives of Tyrius.
